The Story
Metrics Works didn't start as a machine shop looking for customers. It started inside a supply chain company — MES — that had spent years sourcing die castings, investment castings, forgings, extrusions, and machined parts worldwide for some of the most demanding manufacturers alive.
We kept hitting the same wall. Customers didn't just want a cheaper part. They wanted a supplier who'd own the whole problem: the machining, the quality, the customs, the inventory, the delivery. So we built one.
Established in 2013 in Columbus, Ohio, Metrics Works is now one of three operating companies under Metrics Holdings. When you work with us, you're not hiring a shop. You're plugging into a supply chain run by people who do this at a global scale every day.

The only place we machine. Set in the heart of Coahuila, Mexico's automotive manufacturing region, Saltillo runs 25+ machines turning 400 to 2,000 parts a day — milling, turning, grinding, balancing, and full CMM inspection to Level 5 PPAP. Every Metrics Works part starts on this floor.

Our nearshore fulfillment engine. Minutes from Saltillo and positioned for USMCA duty-free staging into the U.S., Monterrey is where a machined part becomes an on-time delivery — warehousing, rework, repacking, inventory management, and inspection.

Inventory inside the United States, close to the customers who need it. Central Ohio sits within a day's drive of a large share of U.S. manufacturing — ideal for domestic JIT delivery, rework, repacking, and supply chain services. It's also the home base of the wider Metrics organization.

The only hub that runs in-house PPAP inspection, so European customers get parts approved without shipping them across the Atlantic. A flexible, advanced-WMS warehouse near Zielona Góra with direct motorway access across Central Europe, operated as part of our MES European network.
